Over the years Lawrence has carried out several assignments for us including a massive whole-wall bookcase; two wooden stairways that ascend the back garden; a garden bench; two planter boxes (from material he saved from the stairways); a table top of Cornish oak; and a complete sanding down of our wooden floors and kitchen surfaces etc etc.

We did indeed come to appreciate Lawrence’s woodworking skills and attention to detail but, perhaps even more than this, we learned to appreciate the creativity and artistry that Lawrence brings to each job and his ability to somehow sprinkle some beauty along the way on something as seemingly mundane as a bookcase or shelves or a bench.
